A beetroot soup that I blitzed but apparently should be more like a chunky stew (the Russians at work assure me of this).
Shanks are my favourite cut of lamb. You can't really go wrong if you cook them for 3 hours or more in red wine!
This cake is worth eating when it's still warm... dead nice!
